If you are at or near the traditional age of retirement, this series of blogs is for you.
I’ve made a study of what it takes to ensure a rich full and satisfying 2nd chapter of life. In these blogs I’ll be sharing the insights I’ve gained with the hopes they will be of benefit to you.
I walked into the main entrance of the Celebration of Fine Art Festival yesterday and immediately had my breath taken away by the sights and activity. There was a 10-foot-tall piece of clay artwork being sculpted by the artist while a group of admirers looked on. In every direction I could see displays by painters and crafts people of all different styles and types. Patricia and I were there at the invitation of the very gifted artist Kenneth Ober firstname.lastname@example.org. He greeted us at the entrance and escorted us around and introduced us to some of the over 100 artist who were displaying their work. Some of them were working as I walked by but none of them were too busy to stop and talk to us. Hannah Friel www.hannahfriel.com was working on a beautiful piece of work using a variety of materials and techniques. She impressed and inspired me with her innovative approach to painting.
That is the whole point of today’s blog. Those of us who are in or entering into our retirement or second chapter of life are perhaps most in need of inspiration. It will help us find the answer to the question we are all asking; “What do I do now to make my life one that will be worth remembering?
