Finding Happiness in Retirement

A QUOTE BY MAYA ANGELOU HAS A LOT TO DO WITH WELL-BEING IN RETIREMENT. I’LL SHARE IT WITH YOU IN A MOMENT.
IF WE ARE TO BE ABLE TO COUNT OUR LIVES AS ONES BEING WELL LIVED, WE BETTER HAVE SOME PURPOSE FOR GETTING OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING SO WE DO NOT CONFORM TO THOUREAU’S LIFE OF “QUIET DESPERATION” WHICH, HE SUGGESTED, ULTIMATELY ENDS IN OUR GOING TO THE GRAVE WITH OUR SONG UNSUNG.
MY PURPOSE, WHY I GOT UP THIS MORNING BECAUSE I HAVE A DESIRE TO ASSIST YOU IN ACHIEVING THAT WELL-BEING.
IT IS MY SONG TO SING.
MAYA ANGELOU SAID, ‘A BIRD DOESN’T SING BECAUSE IT HAS AN ANSWER. IT SINGS BECAUSE IT HAS A SONG.”
WHAT IS YOUR SONG?
